Pharmacy Procurement Manager

We are looking for a pharmacy procurement manager to negotiate with suppliers and maximise the retail and group margins, identifying new opportunities and monitoring profitability.The Buyer will develop strong relationships with suppliers and will assist with the day to day operation and implementation of the Pharmacy Buyer function, ensuring compliance within all branches. You will produce reports and analyse the data to maximise profitability and minimise waste. The successful candidate will need to have experience in a purchasing / procurement environment, or alternatively have strong working knowledge of retail pharmacy. Knowledge of the Drug Tariff is essential. You will ideally have a proven track record of negotiation and profit target achievement and you will be IT competent, specifically with Word and Excel.The working hours for this position are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm.
